If you have stumbled upon this blog… this is my attempt to evaluate my options after a number of life changes.
To recap:
- My father’s death prompted my husband and I to move close to my mother (rural South Dakota).
- Meanwhile, my husband had also decided it was time to start over, so is in the middle of learning how to shoe horses.
- We bought a very old house (I love old things, and this is solid and has some neat features, but it needs some serious elbow grease)
All of this seemed a good idea, since I worked virtual for a large corporation, until…
- I was notified that I am being laid off.
We currently live in Dallas, TX. Our move is planned for August. Let the fun begin!
